If we mailed you a card with a QR code or texted you this link, then you are officially invited. The invitation is either for a couple or a guest with a +1. Children are also welcome, we just request that you provide us with their names and ages in the RSVP. Click the RSVP button at the bottom of the page to go to the RSVP goggle form. Due to venue deadlines, all RSVPs must be received by April 30th.
The best description for Friday afternoon will be Picnic Chic. California can get warm in June and sunscreen is a must. It may get cooler in the evening... or it may not. Feel free to dress up a little more for the dinner reception or continue with your picnic attire. We will be upgrading to cocktail attire. Standard wine tasting and golf attire apply for the rest of the weekend.
No problem! The picnic is the primary event for all guests. The time was carefully selected to give guests enough time to travel to and from the event without requiring an overnight stay.
In order to limit the seats at the dinner table, we have decided to restrict this activity to guests that are staying at the Genevieve. If you are a family member traveling to the event and there are no more rooms at the Genevieve, let us know ASAP. We will do our best to squeeze you in to the dinner. For the wine tasting event, anyone can attend. Without the wine passport, you can still participate, you will just have to pay full price for your tastings.
Absolutely! Many tasting rooms are family friendly and often have lawn games or other activities for their guests. The Annie and Zack rule will be in effect and we will make sure that all wineries we visit allow children.
If you are looking to carpool from an airport or from Los Angeles, let us know and we will put you in contact with anyone else looking to carpool that is arriving/departing on the same days.
The FIFA World Cup is being held in Los Angeles in June and the first game is at SoFi Stadium on June 12th. This means that there will be a large amount of traffic in and around the stadium. High volumes of travel at LAX can also be expected. If you are planning on flying to or through LAX, it is highly recommended to book your flights early. Prices may skyrocket as the event approaches. Your best option is to fly directly to SBA with layovers in SFO or another airport.
